সৃজিতের সিনেমা আমার কাছে অনেকটা চুমু খাওয়ার মতো । শেষ হওয়ার পরও মনে হয় আর একটু হলে ভালো হত । কিন্তু ভালোর তো কোনও শেষ নেই । সৃজিত মুখোপাধ্যায়ের “ এক যে ছিল রাজা ”- কথা রেখেছে । ঠিক যেমনটা সিনেমার ট্রেইলারে বলেছিল - একই গল্প অন্যরকম করে বলা , সেভাবেই বলেছে । ভাওয়াল সন্ন্যাসীর মামলা  কম-বেশী কে না জানে? তবে তার ভেতরকার গল্প খুবই সুক্ষ্ম । সেনসিটিভ । গল্পটা ছোট করে বললে যা দাঁড়ায় তা এই - এক ব্যাভিচারী রাজা তার অবাধ যৌনাচারের জীবাণু বহন না করতে পেরে মারা গেলেন । এবং তার মৃত্যুর প্রায় বারো বছর কেটে যাবার পর অবিকল একই অবয়বে ফিরে এলেন একজন নাগা সাধু, এবং নিজেকে ওই এস্টেটের জমিদার বলে দাবি করলেন । এও বললেন যে তার মৃত্যু স্বাভাবিক ছিলনা । তার শ্যালক এবং ডাক্তারের মিলিত প্রয়াস ছিল তার পেছনে । এতটুকু তো সবাই ( প্রায় ) জানে । যেটুকু জানা নেই সেটুকু দেখতেই তো ছবি দেখতে যাওয়া । অতএব , সেই ফ্যাক্টের বর্ণনা না শুনে সিনেমা হলে একবার ঢুঁ মেরে আসাই বোধহয় ভালো হবে । চলে আসি সিনেমার উপস্থাপনায়। এক কথায় স্মার্ট। রাজার রাজকীয়তায়, অথবা বলা ভালো রাজকিয়তাকে অনস্ক্রিন ফুটিয়ে তোলায় কো...

এই যে আমাদের ব্যস্ততা , সকালে উঠে ট্রেন ধরা , দুপুরে কাজের ফাঁকে আড়মোড়া ভেঙ্গে নেওয়া , এই সবের পাশাপাশি হেঁটে যায় আরও একটা মুখ , আরও একটা পরিচয় , আরও কয়েকটা না বলা ইচ্ছেরা। এমনই কিছুর একনাগাড়ে বয়ে চলা ইচ্ছেই আসলে সমান্তরাল। ইচ্ছের মোড়ক খুলতে খুলতেই পৌঁছানো যায় সেই সারপ্রাইজে যার জন্য আমরা সারাজীবন অপেক্ষা করে থাকি। অথচ সেই সব দুমড়ে মুচড়ে ফেলা মোড়কগুলোতে লুকিয়ে থাকে পাখিদের গান , পিঁপড়েদের ভুঁড়িভোজ আর সমস্ত ক্লান্তির পর ভেসে আসা বেহালার ছড়। সমস্ত চোখের ভেতর থাকে আরও একজোড়া চোখ যারা খুঁজে নেয় একটা স্পর্শ যে আশ্বাস জোগায় , চোখে চোখ রেখে বলে ভালোবাসি। তুমি না বাসলেও বাসি। সেখানে মন এসে ভালবাসা বেড়ে দেয় পাতে , আর আমরা সবাই চেটেপুটে খাই। যেন কাঙালীভোজের শালপাতা , আর ওদিকে গনগনে আগুনে চলছে যজ্ঞ। জগতজোড়া আনন্দযজ্ঞ। চিরাচরিত উন্মাদ আর না-উন্মাদের পেছনে ঘাপটি মেরে থাকে এক অদ্ভুত উন্মাদনা যার নাগাল পেতে পেতে কেটে যায় একটা দীর্ঘ জীবন। কেউ কেউ তো জীবন কাটায় , তবু নাগালই পায় না। ঠিক যেমন , সমস্ত নির্দেশ করা আঙুল চিনতে শেখায় ; তবু পরিচয় হয়না। এভবেই , জ্যামিতিক রাস্তায় হাঁটতে হাঁটতে শুধু...
